yup - we were 12 in Serge Tessier's training ride. 93 km for the slow pokes - I think the faster guys did about 20 km more. Dang was it hot!!! Left from Dollard, went to Ste. Anne, Ile Perrot, Dorion, Les Cedres, Hudson, Vaudreuil and back... How about you?
It was a short one Ile Perrot to Dorval and back, about 50km. We are out almost daily but the rides are not too long these days 50 to 70k. Tomorrow, Sunday we are going to do 100K I hope. I'm still trying to do two biggies in a row. I'm so sorry I missed gear up. It would have been nice to meet all you guys. We had been out on the 24th for a big ride and on the way home I blew out my tube and tire on a broken beer bottle. So on the evening of the 25th I went to Gianella's for a tube and tire, got home fixed the tire and then remembered it was gear up, Oh crap! BUT I did learn how to change a back tire.
BW, you didn't miss a thing. The person from RTCC, was not even aware that I was coming, and not to mention there was ONLY 1 Person that showed up. So I went for 1.5hrs to talk with 1 person. Good think DDK showed up. Would be nice to ride before "THE DAY" to get to meet everyone.
Im there! The 1st & 4th - Serge is promising a lovely, scenic route.(140km?) Serge rocks! Anyone go out yesterday (Juin 27) for his scheduled ride-in the torrential rain?
